[Why yes, Sherlock did fill in the amount of due respect on his own initiative. He's quite pleased with the results. Once he's had a cup of that tea, he sends a messenger bird right back to Abi.]

To Abi of the Blue Dragons,

Indeed, the missive has found me well. It would seem that I am famous even among those of a certain avian variety!*

No need for thanks! A detective lives to solve mysteries, nothing more. Without such a goal, they would host a truly miserable existence. It is true that the absence of my assistant is a prominent one. However, adventures need not find their way to paper in order to receive the definition of adventures. The tale of what has transpired shall be told throughout this city- nay, this world regardless.

I trust you are enjoying your freedom just as much as I am enjoying the tea.**

Kind regards,
Sherlock Holmes

* : I was joking, of course. I am aware that messenger birds were trained to find any recipient, regardless of their fame.
**: The flavor in particular is quite rich. The effects, of course, feel redundant to my brain.
