greatestdefective: (More hat grab)

[Well, this is troublesome. It's even more troublesome because Holmes's most recent memories of home are seeping into the entire conversation and coloring it. Asougi went missing in Hong Kong, he knows that now. An amnesiac Asougi was led to Van Zieks by Hart Vortex and that was already odd- too great of a coincidence. Another one of the four names is dead. Holmes was still piecing it all together back home and now then he got ripped away from it all, only to be stuck in this situation.

Even with the heat coming from Asougi, Sherlock's own emotions manage to have a bit of frost clamber up the glass of the open window. He takes the silly glasses off his face and tosses them aside, but he's still not lowering the cloak's hood.]

Why, you ask? ...Because sometimes, the truth is so very dangerous that it must be hidden beneath a layer of lies. Your friend's survival was on a very limited need-to-know basis. It was the only way to keep everyone safe, or so I believed back then.
