[The joke flies way over Sherlock's head, because to him, the answer is quite obvious (and had better not be jossed by DGS2).]

I do have a brother. However, he's utterly irrelevant to the situation, as Mycroft would never be able to pass himself off as the World's Greatest Detective. There is only one Sherlock Holmes and it is the man crouching before you! [He strikes a flamboyant pose and a few sparkles shimmer in the air surrounding him.]

Eh? You actually have a brother? [Color him surprised because Sherlock never mentioned siblings....in fact he never really talked about his family, has he?]

Well I certainly don't remember meeting anyone by that name, as I'm sure it was you that I saw back home. But...I'm glad to see you've been okay here, for the most part. [Saying as he looks around at the mess.] Besides the mess, have I missed anything big happening in this world?

[Sherlock is not one to think too hard about the family he had while he was growing up. He has a new family, now. ...Though, over half of that family isn't here in Verens. There's only Naruhodou he can depend on.]

In this world? Hmm... Let's see, there was a lot of fog and static electricity over the past few days. I misplaced Angus Jr. for a while, only to find him in one of the kitchen cupboards... Ah, and there appears to be some sort of festival going on right now. [He wasn't really paying attention to it.]

Is that so...? [He can guess where the fog and static came from. The mystery of the missing Angus Jr is probably--wait.] Who is Angus Jr.?

[Has Sherlock never introduced Naruhodou to Angus Jr.? Must've slipped his mind. Ah well, no time like the present.]

My skull, Mr. Naruhodou, my skull! [A pause, then he taps a finger against his forehead.] ...Not the skull in here. The skull on my bookshelf.

[It's a good thing Sherlock properly verified what he meant, because he was looking very concerned that his friend had gone the deep end, more so than usual and named his own skull. Still...] That skull had a name? [Nevermind the fact that when it was alive with a body of flesh, it probably did have a name.]

...Well, I'm glad you found him. [Wagahai mews beside him, and he realizes he's been sitting in her bedding for quite some time. He'll move to stand back up, feeling a little lightheaded.] All right, if we're going to go out later, we should get started cleaning this place up.

[If Sherlock had named his own skull, it wouldn't be named Angus. He'd name it Vault, as it's housing one of the world's greatest treasures; his brain.

He stands up when Naruhodou does, though not before bringing his hand down to pet Wagahai's head. Good kitty, finding their lost housemate before Sherlock did. The room continues to be a bit brighter than usual.]

Right! Yes! Time to sort out the laundry from the candy wrappers!

[He looks around the room, the frown getting bigger on his face.] Maybe we should look into getting a maid or a butler. [If this is how bad it can get when he's not here, and he's not any better at staying tidy. He'll start collecting the papers and clothes scattered about for the time being,. careful not to disturb any of Holmes' questionable instruments.]

...Holmes-san, since I'm here again, I'm thinking about maybe I should consider starting up a legal agency here. Do you think that would be a good idea?

[Careful with those clothes, Naruhodou. There may be some underpants and smelly socks hidden in there. Sherlock will do absolutely nothing to help, instead leaning back against the wall and lighting his pipe.]

A legal agency... For attorney activities, you mean? That sounds delightful!

[He smiles to hear Holmes' approval.] Mm. That's right. [A beat.]

And, well, I thought you would like to continue your work here as well, officially I mean. It's been...what month is this, a year now, right? We could have a business together.

A business together... [He trails off, looking baffled. Then a few sparkles pop near Sherlock's head and he smiles.] Mr. Naruhodou! You would go into business with me? Truly, you have the best taste when it comes to associates! The Holmes name will have you soaring on wings of my greatness!

W-Well...(Greatness at making a fool of myself?) we were already working together on a few cases back home, and a few here. [He puts his hand behind his neck with a sheepish grin on his face.]

So, it seem like a logical decision to make.

Logical, yes! I like the sound of that! Soon, they will write novels about the exciting adventures that lie in store for us. I'm sure of it! And then, perhaps, a stage play based on those novels!
