Hello! Sorry for hitting you up here (rather than PM or plurk, I always feel like the latter especially holds the suggestion of Having to add someone for a convo), but I'm trying to follow-up on threads since I'm off hiatus and the holidays are (thankfully) passed, whew.

I'm probably not going to make a post myself until next month, but I'd definitely be happy to throw up a log if you have time/inclination toward one? Though if you have anything up I'd love if you directed me toward it! Otherwise, is there anything specific you might like to do (task or otherwise) that I might help you achieve? c:

Heya! Don't worry about it, I don't mind at all! I'm just glad you're excited to follow up on their previous thread.

Trouble is, I won't be able to do much this month- or the next. I'll be receiving the keys to a new house on February 15th and in preparation of that, I have a lot of packing to do. My life is boxes and bubblewrap right now, hahaha. If you do toss up a log, I could still manage a thread there, though! The tasks that I signed him up for this month don't seem particularly suitable (singing to the mysterious Theasthai person and helping the Briarlan institute with its machine that can project emotion drops), but Sherlock is always up to shenanigans regardless of the task board. Is there anything in particular Jill is doing?

(Sherlock's age has become debatable now, because he spent a year and a half in Emp, was sent home for half a year (where he was still 34) and then came back and suffered through yet another birthday according to the Emp calendar. Is he 35 or 36 now; he just doesn't know.)

Oh my gosh! Congrats on that! I 100% am fine with future prospects or handwaving since I know how stressful a move can be (when we moved in 2016, the people were supposed to be out of the house but they took another month so all of our stuff was awkwardly divvied up at family members houses which was fhrhhrhghg). I probably won't be posting anything sans a network style one next month (which hopefully will be easier for me to manage, as well).

She's basically eating those 20 burgers and just hunting; she did also reply to Steven's post, but she only plays piano so that might be... a thing that happens? I'm not sure, considering the nature of the instrument lmao. If he's still interested in studying and observing monsters, she'd be happy to play "bodyguard" so to speak? If there's any task you'd think is suited to handwaving he might be into, I'd be glad to join in -- I was thinking about that Secretly Grand Theft Auto one but I fear I wouldn't be able to write that kind of thing and make it interesting.

(The answer is to always go for the younger age even if it doesn't mean you'll necessarily live longer! How awkward tho, I'm bad enough at keeping track of irl birthdays let alone fictional ones!)

Thanks for your support! Sounds like your own moving experiences have been quite a hassle. I hope mine will be easier, but one never knows what might happen.

He's definitely still interested in studying more monsters, so yes, maybe they can go on an expedition related to the Beastmaster Guild at some point. The tasks usually involve killing the monsters, which he definitely won't be much help with, but one can always take some liberties and observe from a distance instead. Such great shenanigans and hijinks could ensue.

(Hahaha, yeah, if anyone asks he's 35.)

He mentioned that, so I figured that would be the case! Jill actually is pretty stubborn about partnering up; she can handle herself just fine, but would rather work alone but... they have that rule about working in 2+ groups so for her it would be ideal. He tells her to allow it to give chase and move a little to the right so he can examine movement or a broken limb or something and she gets a good work-out! :')

Hah, that does sound like great shenanigans! In a way, Holmes is a terrible partner to have, because he's so very reckless and gets so focused on certain goals that he might end up forgetting there's another person there (who could possibly be in danger). Granted, considering Jill can actually fight, it's doubtful there would be any real trouble. She might end up having to save him.
